The Edo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Samson Osagie, has emphasised the need for stakeholders to collaborate in ensuring the success of development projects implementation in the State.
Dr. Osagie made the call during a stakeholders’ meeting on land allocation for the proposed Ologbo Condensate Refinery project in Benin City. The engagement was attended by representatives from the Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO), the Edo State Geographic Information Service (Edo GIS), and Presco Plc.

He urged stakeholders to work harmoniously, adhering to the law and reiterated that the Sen. Monday Okpebholo-led State Government is committed to projects aimed at driving economic growth in the State. He added that the proposed Refinery will boost the State’s Oil and Gas Sector prospect.
During the engagement, stakeholders made presentations, highlighting their respective commitments and pledged collaborative efforts to ensure the project’s success.
The synergy is expected to foster a conducive environment, which will benefit residents in the State through provision of jobs that will bring about improved standard of living and contribute to economic prosperity.
